September Release Updates

Jared Meakin

Welcome to the September Release Update.

This release our devs have been working on a couple of major changes, one of which we hope will make listing to eBay a lot easier for our customers.

As usual we’ve had some behind the scenes improvements that aren’t immediately obvious and we’ve been laying the ground works for some changes that will make searching much better in the not too distant future (more to follow later).

eBay Business Policies

You may have already noticed that there have been some changes on the eBay listing pages on the Shipping, Payment & Handling and Returns tabs to wrap certain information into your existing business polices on channel.

This dropdown will let you choose your existing business polices and will then hide all of the information that is contained in the policy which means you don’t need to add it in StoreFeeder.

These can be set as part of eBay default values to make things even quicker. They can also be applied in bulk using a listing import\export to update.

These will apply to any new listings you create in StoreFeeder.  We do have an option to sync your Business Policies to any listing you have in StoreFeeder so if you are interested please contact the support team.

CN22 Changes

We have also rolled out the new CN22 to all of our customers.  The old 4 x 3 CN22 is now invalid and has been replaced by a new 6 x 4 version that is clearer and is compliant with new regulations.  This change has happened automatically.  We’ve had some feedback on a few extra tweaks our customers would like and these are being worked on as I speak

Some other things worth mentioning but without going into too much detail are:

We have increased the maximum number of orders than can be exported on the orders despatched report as customers found 1000 very limiting.

We added the time between despatches back into the Packer Productivity report as our customers found it useful

Added some new Royal Mail Service codes and changed the validation on a few to keep up to date with changes

When changing permissions for users these should now take effect straight away without the user having to log out and back in

We’ve been working on adding some more great features to our new version of the StoreFeeder app that’s currently in beta and due for full release soon.

We now prevent refunds of 0.00 from being uploaded to Xero and causing errors as occasionally our customers found it necessary but this is not allowed in Xero so they will be ignored

We’ve also squashed a few bugs as usual, most notably one that I think has affected us all recently where you were unable to create any reports or picking lists so hopefully we have seen the end of that one!

That’s about it for this release other than to say we hope business is going well for all of our customers and that you are all still staying safe.

As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
