Welcome to the latest Release Update blog post.
First of the year! I hope all of you reading had a fantastic Christmas and New Year or at least were able to make the best of it despite the current situation.
As always, there has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released in this update, the highlights of which are below:
Saved Filters Expansion
In our last update we released a feature that allowed you to save sets of filters so that you could quickly set them again should you need them in the future.
If you didn’t catch the blog post for that update, you can find it here: https://blog.storefeeder.com/2020/12/latest-release-updates-3rd-december-2020/
Well, thanks to the shed-load of positive feedback we received, we’ve decided to expand the use of this feature even sooner than we first planned. As of this update, you’ll now find the saved filters feature on:
- The manage orders grid
- The manage products grid
- The manage listings grid
We hope you continue to get the most out of this new feature!
StoreFeeder App – Order Validation Groups
A very welcome quality of life update to the StoreFeeder mobile app. When picking a single order, after setting barcode validation on, product lines in the order will be separated into two groups, “Order Lines to be Validated” and “Order Lines Validated” as shown below:
You can scan the products in the “To be Validated” group either by barcode or by override if unable to scan as you would usually be able to; the difference being that now, once scanned, the product line will move to the “Order Lines Validated” group and will be out of the way of the product lines still left to be scanned as shown below:
Once all lines are validated the process is the same as before; a label will be printed and you will be asked if you wish to despatch.
We hope this makes for a more user friendly order picking experience.
The StoreFeeder app is a paid extra with plenty of uses and benefits to your business. If you are interested in what it has to offer either visit our website here: https://storefeeder.com/features/pda-functionality/ for more information or inquire with our support team if you think it might be right for you.
We’ve made a few background changes to some functions in StoreFeeder that we felt needed a bit of a kick up the bum so to speak…
We hope that you’ll notice an improvement with the following:
- Back Orders – More so, the releasing of back orders when they should be.
- Shopify Order Import – We received reports that occasionally Shopify would have a few more open orders yet to be imported into StoreFeeder than we would have liked. This should happen much less frequently now.
- Product Inventory Update – We were finding that this old section of StoreFeeder was occasionally struggling to handle files and would time out. Again, this shouldn’t happen very often if at all now.
- FBA Inbound Shipments – Not used by all but for those who use it a lot, you should notice a significant difference in load times.
There have been some great new features and fixes implemented this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.
As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.
From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
The StoreFeeder Team
