Latest Release Updates – 18th November 2021

Harry James

Welcome to the latest Release Update blog post.

Black Friday is just around the corner, though for most people nowadays, it could be considered to have already started! Whilst I imagine it’s an exceptionally busy time for you all, I hope you can find a couple of minutes to read over the exciting new StoreFeeder features I have the pleasure of writing about today.

There’s actually quite a good amount to shout about today so without further ado, let’s get right into it!

As always, there has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released in this update, the highlights of which are below:

Parcelhub Integration

I always enjoy telling you all about a new integration and today I’m bringing you the news that StoreFeeder now integrates with Parcelhub!

Integrating with Parcelhub is a pretty straightforward process, simply ask your account manager at Parcelhub for an API Username & API Password and then enter them into StoreFeeder on your Parcelhub integration here:

Once this has been done, you’ll need to import your account-specific services into StoreFeeder which you can do using the button slightly south of where you entered your API credentials:

Remember, you’ll need to create shipping methods and shipping rules for your new Parcelhub services. If you need a refresher on how to do so, you can find the guides here:

EKM Tracking Numbers

Excellent news EKM users! StoreFeeder will now send your tracking and delivery confirmation numbers up to EKM at the same time as we send the shipping update.

This means your customers will now be able to see their tracking number and will likely reduce the amount of calls/emails you receive from them as a result!

There’s nothing you will have to change in order for this to happen, it should just start happening automatically.

Custom/Phone Channel Images

A quality of life improvement here – you can now change the images of your phone order and custom website channels so that you can more easily tell them apart.

All you need to do is open one of the aforementioned channels in StoreFeeder and click the ‘Select File’ button under the ‘Channel Custom Logo’ section as shown below:

Once you’ve selected the file, save the page. From now on, this channel will no longer have the standard phone (or laptop) image and will now have the one you’ve chosen, like so:

There are a couple of restrictions with the image upload:

  • Image cannot be larger than 25px x 25px
  • Image cannot weigh larger than 100kb

Finally….

There have been some great new features and fixes implemented in this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.

As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
