Latest Updates: March Edition Part 2 (New Website, Mirakl, Booking in Deliveries & more)

Here’s a roundup of the newest changes we have implemented into StoreFeeder. Remember, our customers are our first priority, so if you have a suggestion on a change we can make that would benefit your business, please do get in touch, and we’ll see what we can do.

Overall Visual Improvements

You may have noticed that we have a new website. This change has been made to better showcase our newer features and reflect our growing business. You can expect the website to change more as we continue to refine the look and feel. Likewise, this blog and our API documentation have undergone a pallet swap to match the new colour scheme.

When you log into your StoreFeeder, you will notice a change in the way that figures are displayed on your dashboard. The statistics are now filtered by tabs, and we have added the option to display your units and averages. This is so your dashboard can display more complex data about your orders, and load quicker than before.


New Integration: Mirakl

The first of our two newest channel integrations is the Mirakl marketplace. StoreFeeder now fully supports many Mirakl hosted marketplaces such as Game and Halfords.

Functionality Improvements

We have made it easier to Book in and Write off Deliveries, by improving the Purchase Order Information page.

A button has been added to remove all written off stock from the purchase order, and the recalculation of line totals has been improved, and deleted line items will no longer appear.

Additionally, the default tax class of 20% has been changed. This value will now be dependent on the Tax Class value you have set for your products on the Product Information page. If your product has no Tax Class value set, the previous default will apply.

We have improved the layout and loading times of Despatched Order Reports. Data is now better displayed in defined columns, and the system will prevent exports of more than 1000 items to prevent the system from timing out and slowing your order processing.

We have made a slight change to our Magento logos, so orders from V2.x are more easily distinguishable from V1.x orders.


Coming Soon

We will soon be introducing a new Manifest Page, which will give you the option to view your outstanding or completed manifests separately. Additionally, you will be able to view a detailed rundown of each order in each manifest, and finally, we will be implementing the option to reprint or resubmit manifests.

Latest Updates – March Edition

Our Major March release is now live, so here is a summary of the newest features and improvements to your StoreFeeder service.


New Features:

By request from one of our valued customers, a new field is now available on product pages: Product Special Attribute. This allows you to add additional information for products that can be displayed on invoices.

For Enterprise level customers, we offer the Multi-Stock Location service. In your product information, you can assign multiple stock locations to a single product, and perform either immediate transfers in StoreFeeder, or produce transfer lists for your warehouse operatives.

For ParcelForce integration users, we have updated to ParcelForce’s newest API, and as part of this, character limits for addresses has been increased from 25 to 40.

We now import Amazon product tax codes (PTC) automatically for all your Amazon orders.

A new Save Cost Price to Product optional feature has been added to Purchase Orders. When you raise a Purchase Order, it will now automatically load in the costs of your products. If you then have to change the cost on the purchase order (such as when your supplier tells you the cost has increased), the adjustment will now automatically update your product price too. The On/Off switch for this feature can be found in your View/Edit Suppliers page.

 Performance improvements have been made to the way we performing Sending Shipment and Tracking Data to BigCommerce. Some of our customers had noticed issues with a small number of BigCommerce orders. This update should speed up the processing, and ensure the correct data is transmitted every time.

A change has been made so that when you Split an Order on the Edit Orders page, the Shipping Method and Packaging Size for that order will be automatically recalculated, so you won’t need to do anything more with it.

Visual changes have been made to Priority Orders, and we have included ‘A’ and ‘P’ stamps anywhere you can see your orders to signify if an order ‘Requires Attention’, or is a ‘Priority Order’.

New Feature: Priority Orders

We have introduced a new feature into StoreFeeder: Priority Orders

There are orders from some services, such as Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime, which require your immediate attention. These orders need to go out the door as quickly as possible, usually via next day delivery shipping, and it is important that these orders do not go unnoticed. From today, these orders will be labelled as ‘Priority Orders’ in StoreFeeder.


A box has been added to your dashboard to display the Priority Orders that are awaiting your attention.

On your Order Management page, Priority Orders will be instantly visible by their sunburst yellow background, and a new filter column has been added for orders of this type.

Your Shipping Rules will also incorporate Priority Orders. A new selection box has been added to include Priority Orders as a criteria to new or existing rules.

A filter tab has been added to your Picking page, so you can filter your Outstanding Orders, and create pickwaves of Priority Orders, speeding up your order processing.


This feature is currently only for use with Amazon orders, but we plan to roll this feature out to other channels in future updates.

We are also planning to include a feature that will allow you to specify Channel Shipping Methods as Priority, so any orders StoreFeeder imports with that Channel Shipping Method will automatically be marked as a Priority Orders.

Lastest Updates – February Edition

Our latest set of updates is now live. We have taken your feedback on board, and integrated two new major features, along with many improvements to our services.

Below is a short summary of each new additon. For more details, see our knowledgebases, or conatct our team at hello@storefeeder.com.


Newest features

1) We have added an Offline Payment option to the Edit Order and MOTO order pages.

In order to streamline the order input process, we have added a new option: Offline payment. When you select this option, you will be asked to specify the type of order:

  • Cash
  • Credit
  • Point of Sale
  • Other

This allows you to specify where your order came from without the need for long and cumbersome menus. When selecting other, you will be able to input your own descriptions if you wish.

Note that when selecting Cash or Credit payments, a payment reference number will be required. Additionally, this feature will allow you to process negative payments if you need to, for refunds and suchlike.

2) We have added the ability to Archive products.

This feature has been included by popular request from our userVoice service.

There are many reasons why you may wish to hide products from your StoreFeeder interface, from seasonal or promotional stock, or simply to tidy your Manage Products page to cut down the amount of time it takes to process orders.

Products marked as ‘archived’ cannot be added to new orders or purchase orders. They will still be displayed if they are present in any existing listings or purchase orders, and their sales histories will still be accessible.

You can access this feature as a bulk action from your ‘Manage Products’ or as a button on your ‘Product Overview’ pages.

Furthermore, you can filter your products to display archived or non-archived products, and designate products as archived during your CSV product imports.

You can reverse the archiving process at any time by selecting your archived products and clicking the ‘unarchive’ button.

1) We have added an Out of Stock Threshold to listings pages in BigCommerce.

This option was previously missing, but is now available to select alongside import and export.

2) EBay Click & Collect settings have been improved and simplified.

If you are a user of this service, you will now need to specify in your channel specific settings which option you are eligible for, ‘pickup and drop off’, or ‘pick up in store.’ When you view or create eBay listings from now, there will be a single ‘Click and Collect’ option.

Note that your listings will be adjusted retroactively, so you will need to check if your options are correct.

3) For our API users, we have added the ability to have a note per order line when you are creating Purchase Orders.

4) The size of the address on ParcelForce labels has been increased to 40 characters to match their new size allowance.

5) For your Amazon listings, we have added the ability to enter different Multiple Product Number (MPN) values.

6) We have added the ability to included a ‘Reason’ field for bulk inventory updates.

When you are performing a bulk inventory update via a spreadsheet, there is now the option to include a reason as a field mapping.

7) We have renamed some of the fields for Kit Products to make the process clearer and more intuitive.

8) The process for setting up Courier Labels has been simplified.

When setting up a new courier who use their own labels, you will no longer need to call their support services to set up labels correctly. Instead, you will be able to choose from a dropdown and specify whether your labels are integrated or separate.

Lastly, 4×3 labels are being phased out, but are still available on special request.

Amazon Logistics Ship Confirmation: Important Update

Over the next few days, following a service change announcement from Amazon, they are going to be making an important change to the way they confirm the shipment of Amazon Logistics orders.

Currently, ship confirmation occurs once the Amazon Logistics labels have been scanned. In accordance with Amazon’s new changes, shipments will instead be confirmed as labels are purchased.

This will let your customers know their order is on the way as soon as you have paid for the service.

Just like with any ship confirmed service, Amazon Logistics orders cannot be cancelled in StoreFeeder once the label is purchased and printed. If you need to cancel the order for any reason, you will need to do one of the following:

If you decide to use another carrier for that order, you will need to cancel the Amazon Logistics label by requesting a refund, and then re-confirming the order and tracking ID.


If you need to cancel an order after it has been ship confirmed, you can do so by refunding your customer.

Lastest Updates – January Edition

Our developers here at StoreFeeder have been busy as usual, and our newest update is now live. Aside from the next big planned integrations, here are the latest changes integrated into StoreFeeder:


As promised, we have made improvements to the processing speed of several key pages and features of our website:

  • iText report generation
  • HTML report generation
  • Warehouse and Channel Permissions pages
  • Orders Overview page
  • Listing Overview page

Keep an eye out for future updates, as we are continuing to improve the efficiency of our service.


Here at StoreFeeder, we think it is very important to reduce accidents when cloning. Now, if you are use the clone product feature, and you have multiple products selected, a confirmation check box will appear, to prevent unwanted products being created by accident.

We have added additional units of measure to your product information pages where necessary, to improve consistency across all of your pages.

We have added extra product information on order lines for your recognised products. When you are adding products to an order, a small ‘i’ symbol will be visible next to the product SKU. Hover over the icon to display:

  • Weight
  • MPN
  • Packaging Size
  • Packaging Quantity

We have added more functionality to the REST API. You can now include stock locations in your queries. For a full list of queries, go to http://api.storefeeder.com/V2/Help for more information.

Because we know there can be a wide variety of reasons why an order may be returned, we have added 2 new return options to the ‘Order Override’ feature:

  • To be re-sent
  • Not Received


We noticed that some of your phone order channels were not appearing on your dashboard when filtering by company identity. We have fixed this so that all order channels now appear on your dashboard and can be filtered for appropriately.

We fixed a bug that allowed the saving and importing of products with a Packaging Quantity of 0.

Lastly, we removed the ability to order the same product twice when only 1 is in stock, as having multiple tabs open could let you order the product twice in some circumstances.

A Thank You to All Our Customers

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, we’d like to thank our customers for helping us to make us one of the best multi-channel platforms out there, for both functionality and value.

Both our team and our software will continue to grow as we add more channel and courier integrations, and new useful tools in the coming months. We’re writing new code, ironing out the wrinkles in the old code, and making sure that StoreFeeder is ready to meet the needs of our expanding customer base.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our veteran customers who have grown alongside us over the years. We really couldn’t have done it without you. To the new customers who are just joining us, you’ve made the right choice, and we’d like to offer you a very warm welcome.

Now, with any growing system, there are likely to be one or two growing pains. A handful of customers have noted that on some days, the service runs a little slower than we’d like it to.

Through the years, we have processed many thousands of your orders, and some of you have so many past orders stored into your interface that they slow down page loading and processing times.

We’re going to be bringing in ways of archiving these, having a good spring clean. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to go back and view your archived orders at any time you like.

For us, our customers are paramount, and the improvements we make to our service are driven by your suggestions.  Our developers are working double time to integrate the next new big features, and to return the service to its usual pace.

If you should ever encounter any issues with your service, there is a new integration you’d like us to include, or you have a suggestion to make your experience better, let us know, and we’ll make your service our priority.

StoreFeeder, A Year in Review

I’m sure you’d agree that 2016 has been quite a year to remember, so from all of us here at StoreFeeder, we’d like to wish our valued customers a very Merry Christmas.

We thought this would be a good opportunity to look back over all the changes and improvements we have made to our service over this last year, and to look at some of the exciting plans for the future development and continued improvement of StoreFeeder that we have in store for 2017.

A very popular improvement has been the introduction Criteria Weighting to our shipping rules. In this new feature, you are able to choose the criteria that matter the most to you. Should two shipping rules apply to the same order, StoreFeeder will automatically assign the rule that matches the criteria you deem to be the most important.

We have offered our customers greater functionality options with our Rest API. Using this powerful tool, the more computer savvy among you can send queries and receive responses about any aspect of your data. Search through your past orders to find all the ones from last September when you were away on holiday? No problem. Search to see how many of a product you have in a particular warehouse? Done.

We know just how vital it is to keep your customers happy, and what better way than to make sure your products get to the right place at the right time? Throughout the year, we have integrated StoreFeeder with a host of new couriers. We have been very pleased this year to welcome Amazon Logistics, DPD, Interlink, Huxloe and Parcelstation to our growing list of couriers.

Recognising how dreary it can be to manually alter your product prices to keep track of those of your competitors, we introduced our new and improved Amazon Repricer tool at the start of the year for our Banquet and Enterprise customers to help you keep that competitive edge. With this tool, Amazon informs us of changes to the same products in different stores, and the repricer runs throughout the day, automatically repricing your orders based on the options you set.

One of the new features we are most proud of, is our Phase 1 of Multi-stock Location. This feature is currently only available for a select testing group of Enterprise customers, and has been met with highly positive feedback. The feature takes into account all of the locations you may keep the same products, and uses this information to inform your picking and packing lists. StoreFeeder won’t look only in one place for your products, but will take into account the amount you have in store, and the rest sitting in your warehouse.

Enterprise customers can expect this new feature to become part of their package when we unveil Phase 2 in the days to follow.

The sphere of online retail grows by the day, and here at StoreFeeder, we don’t want our customers to miss any opportunities. We are proud to announce the following future channel integrations that will be coming in 2017:
