Latest Updates: August Edition (DX Courier integration, eBay Best Offers, Amazon Prime order flag, plus more)

We are pleased to announce our newest courier integration: DX.

New Features

eBay Best Offers

We now offer support for ‘Best Offers’ on your eBay listings. As part of your payments and default values, you can set your min and max prices

To enable best offers, go to the ‘Payments and handling’ tab of an eBay listing, and you will be able to toggle Best Offers, choosing the minimum best offer price to set on your listings. Only accepted offers will be downloaded into StoreFeeder.

You can also set a Best Offer Auto Accept Price, so when a customer makes a best offer of that price or higher, the order will be automatically accepted.

Don’t forget to check the values you have for your existing eBay listings.

Supplier due dates

We have added the option to set a lead time for each of your suppliers in order to calculate due dates for purchase orders.

You can find this option on the ‘Edit/View supplier’ page, enter a number of days, and this will automatically adjust the due date on any PO raised for this supplier by that number of days.

If no value is set, it will default to one day.

 


Additions and Improvements

Amazon Prime Orders

StoreFeeder now supports Amazon Prime orders across many of our features and pages.

When an Amazon Prime order is imported into StoreFeeder, it will now be flagged as such. You can filter for your Amazon prime orders in the Orders Overview and Picking pages.

Additionally, you can now include Amazon Prime orders as a criterion for Shipping Rules.

Preserve Sales setting for eBay listings

We have added an option for your eBay listings, which will prevent any updates except for inventory levels being made to eBay listings that are currently part of an active sale.

The Save and Upload button on the Listing Details pages will be hidden while this setting is switched on, and the listing is part of an active sale.

You can find the toggle in your eBay integration settings:

CSV Order Import: New Company fields

We have added 2 new fields that can be mapped when uploading your orders, Billing Company and Shipping Company.

When you import an order with these fields mapped, the billing and shipping address company names will be visible in shipping and billing address details.

Change calculator for offline payments

When you create a new order with an offline payment, we have added a handy change calculator.

When an amount is typed into the Cash received field, the change to give to the customer will be automatically calculated.

Alternate PayPal Email Address for eBay Listings

For our customers who utilise different transaction rates offered on different PayPal accounts, we have added the option to override the email address associated with particular eBay listings in StoreFeeder.

We have added a PayPal Email Override options to:

  • The eBay Listing Import Export page
  • The ‘eBay Settings’ tab on any eBay listing
  • On the Payment Settings

By using any of these options, you can control the PayPal account you wish to use for each of your listings.

Create New Products in Mirakl Marketplace from StoreFeeder

Where previously you could only create Mirakl listings for existing product EANs, we have built in the functionality to create listings for wholly new products.

A new ‘Edit’ option has been added to Mirakl listings where you can input images, attributes, and product descriptions, before saving your listing and uploading it to channel ready for internal approval.

StoreFeeder Workshop Event – Have your say

We would like to invite you all to share in an exciting opportunity with us. In the last few years, our business and yours have grown exponentially together, and to further develop the relationship we have with our clients, we are planning to hold one or two workshop events in the coming months.

The purpose of these would be:

  • To give you an opportunity to meet some of our team

  • To demo our new features and to provide additional training on existing ones
  • To introduce prospective new clients to StoreFeeder
  • For us to better understand the needs of your businesses, and tailor the future development of StoreFeeder accordingly

Latest Updates: June Edition (Feature trials, data filtering improvements)

StoreFeeder’s software is ever evolving to better accommodate the needs of our clients and their businesses.

We will be rolling out some exciting new features over the coming months, so please watch this space.

Below are the brief descriptions of the newest updates to StoreFeeder for June, due for release 14/06/17

 

New features

Feature Trial – Consolidated Picking

We are currently undergoing early access trials for our new Consolidated Picking Feature with a select group of clients before it is made available to all.

This time-saving feature allows your orders to be split across totes ready for quicker and more efficient picking and packing. With this feature, you can choose to consolidate your picking by pickwave or individual orders.

With this feature, you will be able to get a list of products you need, rather than a list of orders. When active, this feature will also produce newly designed picking and packing notes.

Improvements

Confirmed by Supplier button on Purchase Order Page

A new button has been added to allow you to mark your purchase orders in ‘Awaiting Confirmation’ status as ‘Confirmed by Supplier’.

Please note that this button will not be available if the purchase order in is any status other than ‘Awaiting Confirmation’. 

Shopify Variant Products

We have improved the way variant product listings are displayed in Shopify. Listings will now be uploaded in order according to their ‘variant attributes’ that you set. This way, your customers will be able to view your listings in exactly the order you would like them to be seen.

You can view these values in (‘Products‘>’Product Attribute Manager‘)

New Supplier Postcode Validation

As a security measure and to prevent errors, Postcode validation is now used when adding a new supplier.

 

More columns for data filtering

By UserVoice request, we have added a variwety of additional optional columns. To add these columns, visit the page specified and select the columns you require from the filtering tool drop down boxes as shown:

Picker Productivity Report

Added the following columns: ‘Despatch Time’, ‘Total items’, ‘Time taken’, ‘Average time per order’, and ‘Average time per item’.

Picking Sheet

Added optional ‘Brand’ column.

Returns Report

Added two new optional columns, ‘Returned to inventory’ and ‘Returned by’.

Manage Orders Page

Added ‘Shipping company’ optional column.

Latest Updates: May Edition Part 3 (Parent Order Returns, Designated Pickers, Country Specific VAT Numbers, Pickwave Improvements, Bug Fixes)

We understand how integral StoreFeeder can be to the day-to-day operation of our clients’ businesses, so our most recent update has focussed on improvements and fixes based on your feedback.

We are continuing to develop the service we offer, shaping and tweaking StoreFeeder to be as user-friendly and intuitive as possible.

Here is the rundown of the last set of updates for May:

Functionality Improvements

 

Parent Order Returns

When returning an order on your ‘View Orders’ page, the return line used to replace the order line.

Now, a new ‘child’ line will be created underneath for each return, so you can view the original order, and any returns, in an easier and more intuitive manner.

This also means that multiple returns will be supported per order, with the details of numbers of stock returned clearly visible on each child line.

New Purchase order Status

For better control over your ordering process, we have added the option to mark Purchase Orders as ‘Confirmed by supplier’

Improved user status: Designated Pickers

In your General User Information page in your StoreFeeder settings, we have added a toggle to mark your users as Designated Pickers. This way, your designated pickers will appear in alphabetical order on the top of the list when assigning a picker to your pickwaves.

All users will be automatically marked designated pickers, so you will need to manually turn this option off for your other users. You will still be able to select non-designated pickers from the bottom of the list.

Note that this only apply to admins. For non admin users, the picker is automatically defaults to that person.

CC option for email notifications

We have added a field ‘Email CC’ on the customer information page, so copies of any email communication to the customer will be sent to any additional email addresses you specify.

Country Specific Vat Numbers

In your company identity settings, we have added the option to add Country Specific Vat Numbers which will automatically be applied to any orders you send to those countries.

Please note that when you sell your products to EU countries, there are specific monetary thresholds over which you must declare tax in that country.

Improved Pickwave page

By request, we have added additional details to the pickwave page:

  • A ‘live’ status showing how many orders are despatched at the point of viewing
  • An extra field to display the despatched orders in the pickwave
  • Despatched orders / order totals are now displayed on the Picking page

Greater Rest API Functionality

You can now create orders, up to a maximum of 5 at a time, directly via the rest API.

Postcode for eBay proximity Searches

In accordance with eBay’s listing specifications, your postcode is now used in addition to your city for your eBay listings. This is to improve eBay’s proximity searches, as customers are more likely to be shown listings from retailers closer to their location.

The potcode used is your integration postcode, and not that of the product warehouse. Please note that your postcode data is never made customer visible within eBay, and appears only as part of your return address labels.

 

Bug Fixes

 

Fixed a bug that caused some products in ‘awaiting return’ status to be incorrectly marked as ‘returned’.

Fixed a bug that allowed some users to create Purchase Orders when they did not have the correct user permissions.

Fixed a rare bug where the order status ‘awaiting return’ was incorrectly adding stock back into some inventories.

Fixed a bug where the ‘Stock take by pick bin’ report was displaying total stock as opposed to stock by location, and fixed some currency symbol formatting errors.

Feature Update: Delivery Confirmation and Courier File Exports

Continuing with our pledge to provide the best possible service for our clients, we are pleased to announce two new features to enhance the delivery process for your orders.

Delivery Confirmation

For our clients with Royal Mail OBA accounts, any parcels you send via Royal Mail are now eligible for Delivery Confirmation. You can find the Delivery Confirmation number along with the 2D barcodes on your printed labels.

Additionally, the number can also be found on your ‘Order Details’ page in the ‘Tracking Number’ field and the ‘Order Shipping’ tab as a link after your have updated your order tracking information.

This number can be entered into the Track and Trace webpage, and will inform you of when your parcel has been scanned upon delivery.

We also now support Type-3 Preadvice, meaning SMS and email delivery notifications are now supported for eligible Royal Mail tracked and signed services such as Tracked24 and 48.

If you have phone number and email addresses saved alongside your customers, they will receive these notifications automatically.

Courier File Exports

For our clients who ship products with other couriers, we have made important changes to courier file exports.

From our next release date of May 17th and onwards, we will be changing the way we process Courier File Exports as requested in our User Voice forum.

Based on customer feedback, and to make the process more logical and user friendly, we have changed the process so the selectable date range is for pickwave creation date rather than order creation date.

This has been done to be more representative of what you are manifesting on that day, and to remove confusion. As a result of this change, you will now be unable to process unassigned orders in this way. All orders manifested in this way must now be processed in pickwaves.

Latest Updates: May Edition (UK Mail Predelivery Notifications, API & Purchase Order Improvements)

Here at StoreFeeder we know our clients’ seller ratings and reputations are paramount. We now have several more ways of ensuring the satisfaction of your customers by confirming your deliveries, and keeping your customers informed of when they should expect your products to arrive.

Here is a rundown of the new features and additions to your StoreFeeder service:

UK Mail Predelivery Notifications

For our customers who send their products via UK Mail, we have introduced a new predelivery notification setting.

You can now enter your preferred notification method, SMS or email, and your customers’ phone number or email address details will be automatically passed to UK Mail’s notification service each and every time you ship your products with them.

API Improvements

To assist our clients who ship internationally, improvements have been made to the API to include our new tax classes, and country specific tax rates.

Additionally, you can now get the statuses of your Purchase Orders through the API too.

Purchase Orders Improvements

By popular request, and to assist with visibility of your ordering and supplies, we have added a new ‘Raised by’ column which will display the name of the person who raised each of your Purchase orders.

New Feature: Priority Orders

We have introduced a new feature into StoreFeeder: Priority Orders

There are orders from some services, such as Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime, which require your immediate attention. These orders need to go out the door as quickly as possible, usually via next day delivery shipping, and it is important that these orders do not go unnoticed. From today, these orders will be labelled as ‘Priority Orders’ in StoreFeeder.

 

A box has been added to your dashboard to display the Priority Orders that are awaiting your attention.

On your Order Management page, Priority Orders will be instantly visible by their sunburst yellow background, and a new filter column has been added for orders of this type.

Your Shipping Rules will also incorporate Priority Orders. A new selection box has been added to include Priority Orders as a criteria to new or existing rules.

A filter tab has been added to your Picking page, so you can filter your Outstanding Orders, and create pickwaves of Priority Orders, speeding up your order processing.

 

This feature is currently only for use with Amazon orders, but we plan to roll this feature out to other channels in future updates.

We are also planning to include a feature that will allow you to specify Channel Shipping Methods as Priority, so any orders StoreFeeder imports with that Channel Shipping Method will automatically be marked as a Priority Orders.

Lastest Updates – January Edition

Our developers here at StoreFeeder have been busy as usual, and our newest update is now live. Aside from the next big planned integrations, here are the latest changes integrated into StoreFeeder:

Improvements

As promised, we have made improvements to the processing speed of several key pages and features of our website:

  • iText report generation
  • HTML report generation
  • Warehouse and Channel Permissions pages
  • Orders Overview page
  • Listing Overview page

Keep an eye out for future updates, as we are continuing to improve the efficiency of our service.

Additions

Here at StoreFeeder, we think it is very important to reduce accidents when cloning. Now, if you are use the clone product feature, and you have multiple products selected, a confirmation check box will appear, to prevent unwanted products being created by accident.

We have added additional units of measure to your product information pages where necessary, to improve consistency across all of your pages.

We have added extra product information on order lines for your recognised products. When you are adding products to an order, a small ‘i’ symbol will be visible next to the product SKU. Hover over the icon to display:

  • Weight
  • MPN
  • Packaging Size
  • Packaging Quantity

We have added more functionality to the REST API. You can now include stock locations in your queries. For a full list of queries, go to http://api.storefeeder.com/V2/Help for more information.

Because we know there can be a wide variety of reasons why an order may be returned, we have added 2 new return options to the ‘Order Override’ feature:

  • To be re-sent
  • Not Received

Fixes

We noticed that some of your phone order channels were not appearing on your dashboard when filtering by company identity. We have fixed this so that all order channels now appear on your dashboard and can be filtered for appropriately.

We fixed a bug that allowed the saving and importing of products with a Packaging Quantity of 0.

Lastly, we removed the ability to order the same product twice when only 1 is in stock, as having multiple tabs open could let you order the product twice in some circumstances.

A Thank You to All Our Customers

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, we’d like to thank our customers for helping us to make us one of the best multi-channel platforms out there, for both functionality and value.

Both our team and our software will continue to grow as we add more channel and courier integrations, and new useful tools in the coming months. We’re writing new code, ironing out the wrinkles in the old code, and making sure that StoreFeeder is ready to meet the needs of our expanding customer base.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our veteran customers who have grown alongside us over the years. We really couldn’t have done it without you. To the new customers who are just joining us, you’ve made the right choice, and we’d like to offer you a very warm welcome.

Now, with any growing system, there are likely to be one or two growing pains. A handful of customers have noted that on some days, the service runs a little slower than we’d like it to.

Through the years, we have processed many thousands of your orders, and some of you have so many past orders stored into your interface that they slow down page loading and processing times.

We’re going to be bringing in ways of archiving these, having a good spring clean. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to go back and view your archived orders at any time you like.

For us, our customers are paramount, and the improvements we make to our service are driven by your suggestions.  Our developers are working double time to integrate the next new big features, and to return the service to its usual pace.

If you should ever encounter any issues with your service, there is a new integration you’d like us to include, or you have a suggestion to make your experience better, let us know, and we’ll make your service our priority.

Multi-Select Filters Extended!!

 

 

Last month we released a great new feature on the picking page that allowed multiple values to be selected fro the drop down menus on the grid.

Well, this proved so popular and useful to our customers that we have rolled this out onto ALL grids throughout StoreFeeder. Multi1

So now on the Orders page and the Products page, you can filter your views even more precisely using the multi-select filters.
